In the spring of 2006, Bungalow 6 was just a budding idea in the mind of John Ott. He had moved to Quito from Boston planning to open his own business.
I had the unique opportunity to design his vision from day one. Little did we know that Bungalow 6 would become a standard-bearer for nightlife in Quito.
“I want my bar to be a place for everyone — locals and foreigners, a place to mingle, to meet new people, to exchange, to dance, to be yourself, the best bar in Quito." — John Ott
"An eclectically styled club that has become folklore for world travelers. The tourists go for the friendly atmosphere and great music, the locals gather for a taste of something different." – Trip Advisor
Bungalow 6
Visual identity
I created a graphic system that evoked the right feelings: diversity, connection, uniqueness, and fun. The color scheme, the custom-made set of connecting letters, and shape structure formed the foundations for Bungalow 6's visual identity the logo mark and used in environment design, menus, napkins, stationary and more than 60 advertising publications.
